"Scandal-plagued Halliburton -- the oil services company once headed by Vice President Cheney -- sold an Iranian oil development company key components for a nuclear reactor... Halliburton was secretly working at the time with one of Iran’s top nuclear program officials... a National Security Council report said Iran was a decade away from acquiring a nuclear bomb. That time frame could arguably have been significantly longer if Halliburton... was not actively providing the Iranian government with the means to build a nuclear weapon."Is it possible that this stuff we know as reality is, in fact, some weird practical joke? Because I swear to every howling bat-winged pike-wielding God in the furthest bowels of Hades that if we spend much more time in this warped purgatory of swirling neocon madness, we are going to awaken in the morning and look out the window to a world that looks like a scene from a Bosch paiting.
I dunno. I'm just sayin'. Y'know?

A Bosch painting indeed. I often wish that this was all just a collective nightmare and that we will eventually wake up and realize it really didn't happen. When I took a psychology class at Ohio University during my freshman yr, my psych prof collectively hypnotized groups of us. Some people couldn't be hypnotized b/c they are simply unreceptive to it. Some are very easily hypnotized and some (I was part of this group of people) are neither easy nor difficult to hypnotize, and after that experience, I have always wondered if how easily one is hypnotized could be related to one's political beliefs/ party affiliation?... hmm...
Holy shit! If this is true, can we try the execs of Halliburton for treason?
Zoiks.
Fits right in with the title of your blog.
Tina: I tried being hynotized once about 20 years ago, and it didn't take. I think. Uh oh.
Windspike: Yes! To Gitmo with the lot of 'em!
Granny: I does indeed. We can't escape the irony.
