Hope (added bits)

Good news for the Democrats: The Doctor is in! He wrote this prescription.

Following a thorough diagnosis given in 2004, Dr. Dean is scheduled to perform preliminary surgery on the repubican party in 2006, with a follow-up procedure scheduled for 2008. Although patient records are confidential, it is expected that the initial surgery will involved removing a nest of parasites that has infested the host body recently, causing extensive trauma and proving resistent to established procedures which had always proved successful in the past. The major surgery, scheduled for November 2008, will address the removal of a cancer that has resulted in dramatic cognitive delays and weakened heart.

It is hoped that Dr. Dean's operations will restore health and vitality to the patient. Code Blue! Stat!

Wesley Clark is a great one, too. I don't think they could tear down his soldier credentials. If they decided to team up on the ticket, that would be a strong one.

Sorry , but I must add a large volume of warm urine on your endorsement of a professional killer.

"Hey!!! I've got a great idea! Let's hire a hit man! We'll show those republican fucks that we've got the moral high ground now!!!"

How about Winona LaDuke instead?

Or maybe we should try Carlos Santana's suggestion and elect 7 women of different races to jointly act as president?

Hell, women can't do any worse than us men folk have done.

Point taken... excuse me while I open this umbrella.

I was thinking in terms of electability, in the "lesser of two evils" sense. In a way, that shows how desperately I want to be rid of the Bush/Cheney regime, I am willing to compromise my pacifist values to remove them from power. It's like the hiker who cut his own arm off with a knife to survive: damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Now, I'm off to review what Winona LaDuke has to say... :)

So Howard Dean is going to help the Dems win back the White House. Thats funny. Even though I don't care for his ideas, I like Dean though. At least he is honest about who he is, which is a lot different than the suddenly conservative Hillary Clinton.

Oh, I never said the surgery is guaranteed to be succcessful. Until we have honest elections with a paper trail, and no voter disenfranchisement or other forms of election fraud embraced by the republicans in 2004, it's all just for show. We all know Jeb Bush is heir to the throne.

Many of the pundits on TV have said that Dean will have a hard time staying away from policy. They go on to say that this would be bad for the party. I disagree. One of the things the Democratic Party needs is a central figure who, at least, vaguely sets a policy course. In short, we need to be more organized when it comes to message.
