History Repeats Itself

Here we have an example of "Christian" aid workers trying to force Indian refugees to convert to Christianity, telling the disaster victims that they cannot receive aid unless they do so. At first glance, this is yet another example of an organized religion attempting to destroy another culture to appease their god. But, it is also an ironic example of history repeating itself. We all know the story, "In fourteen-hundred ninety-two, Columbus sailed the ocean blue," and encountered who he thought were Indians. Among the evils committed against them was the enforcement of Christian religion. Now, another group of Indians, this time the real ones, is faced with the same evil message: "repent, and ye shall be saved (refuse us, and you may die)." Christianity hasn't changed much over the centuries... so you would think that, if they believe in hell, they would stop doing this sort of thing.
