I cannot imagine that anyone watching BushCo, especially since 9/11 could not identify his use of the above strategy. Man!

I agree. I like that quote, and there's one part of it that really describes Bush's followers, where he says, "...it narrows the mind." Their minds are narrowed, alright... in fact, they've collaped into a black hole, and we're getting sucked into the vortex!
