Bush Has Gone Two Years Without Majority Support on Iraq

Milestone: Bush Has Gone Two Years Without Majority Support on Iraq. A majority of Americans oppose this president and his immoral, unjustified conquest of the middle east. He should be removed from office immediately.

Majority is such a misnomer when it comes to congress and the W, Rove and Co. Democrats may number in a minority in the Congress, but they represent a majority of the American people. Why we continually take it up the ass with these guys is beyond me.

Hi Shea (you know I always have to play devil's advocate). Hasn't every war we have involved ourselves in (sustained) since WWII been without majority support? Also, didn't the majority support the beginning?

I think they supported the Afghanistan action, but my recollection is that the Iraq war did not have popular support in the beginning, which is why the Bush administration had to try so hard to "sell" the war. A lot of time and energy was spent by him and his administration pushing and pushing and pushing to convince Americans and the world to approve of the neocon Iraq adventure. They even had to lie to convince us. They wouldn't have needed lies if they had support.

No paper trail for voting but it's oh so easy for billions of cash transactions per year.
