Justice At Last?

Arrest warrant issued, bail set for Tom DeLay
"An arrest warrant was issued on Wednesday and bail set at $10,000 for former U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay ahead of his first appearance in court on money laundering and conspiracy charges."

"DeLay has been charged with conspiracy and money laundering in a campaign finance scheme... He could face up to life in prison if convicted."
Maybe, just maybe, justice will prevail for five minutes in my lifetime.

Dear Mike and Shea,

I found his mug shot via Yahoo, but the dude is smiling. Can someone explain this? I have a nice caption contest running at my blog if you care to have some fun.

That is if he is guilty, Shea. Let's let the court do what its supposed to do. And I always say innocent until proven guilty.

I posted a good article about Bush on my site. You may find it interesting.

Indeed, it appears we all agree on one thing: neither party has the market cornered on virtue. So many Republican and Democrat politicians were poured directly into the "power corrupts" mold that it is more likely they are corrupt than not, sad to say. And Delay is so bad, they tried to change the ethics rules to keep him from being indicted a long time ago... if his ethics are even more than other politicians can bear, that's pretty bad!
