I don't mind telling you, I am less and less inclined to eat meat. I know humans are omnivorous and nature is full of carnivores, but the longer I live the more disgusted I am at the thought of eating it. But I love cheese and other dairy products, even knowing that "Most cow's milk has measurable quantities of herbicides, pesticides, dioxins (up to 200 times the safe levels), up to 52 powerful antibiotics (perhaps 53, with LS-50), blood, pus, feces, bacteria and viruses" Oh, yum.
I kind of prefer leather shoes over man-made products, too, but I still hate the thought of eating animals.

I never realized just how much animal by-products touch our everyday lives.
It's unbelievable how many things we put into our bodies everyday that if most people knew about it would make them physically sick.
Well, the one thing I can't stand is the thought of wasting any of the animal. Native Americans used the entire animal, they didn't let any of it go to waste. So, I guess on the bright side, it's good there's uses for inedible parts?
I eat meat, and I'm not likely to change that any time soon. As an aside though, I don't like all the junk they put in our food, and so I try to buy food from local sources when possible or at least buy organic, and for meat, well I like venison, and I hunt my own. Then I know exactly where it came from and I know good and well there wasn't anyone feeding the deer antibiotics or any of that junk.
I have friends who are vegan, and I say more power to them if that's what they want to do. I couldn't do it. I might could be vegetarian if I wanted to, but I could not give up cheese or butter. Or chocolate for that matter. Yep, there's no way. :D
Damn, Shea! Those are some amazing lists. About boggles the mind. Mine, anyway!
